Hi miko2010,

In your prior posts, you noted that you had scored 700 on the Official GMAT and implied that you were planning to retake the Exam (sometime around the end of May). If you are still looking to continue studying, then I have to assume that you are not satisfied with your prior results, so to make sure that you are properly appproaching this next phase of your studies, it's important to define that data in more detail - along with your broader timeline and goals:

1) On what dates have you taken the Official GMAT and how did you score on each attempt (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores?)?
2) What is your current Score Goal?
3) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

Does anyone had tried the magoosh GMAT course?
any recommendations?

I'm debating between magoosh and manhattan, mainly because the price difference.

Hello Miko,

I do have Magoosh course.. It is not bad but not very in depth. I would recommend to supplement it with the MegaQuant Thread which is on this forum.

For ex, Even Odd concept is covered in Magoosh but some more nuanced way of solving or looking at these questions are missing which you can find here on this portal. So if you are looking at saving costs, go ahead with Magoosh but do also use this forum to solidify concept and practice

hey, I did scored 700. I did not take any exam since then.
I took it around April. V37 Q49 and V38 Q48.
I'm aiming to get 720-730.
I'm planning to apply on September 23. to M7 schools.

Hi miko2010.

Are you looking for a live course or an online self-study course?

Also, for some tips on how to increase your Verbal score into the 40s you could watch this video.
