Hi folks,
This is my review after
Manhattan GMAT All the Quant + DI Review, and I am again eager to review a book of such importance. However, I do not want to repeat myself by saying how much the Manhattan headquarters crafted a marvelous job for the verbal side of the GMAT exam, so please refer to the previous review.
So, down to the business. We have three simple main areas

Simple. Entrancing. No filler. However, under the hood, you have a Maserati engine. All you need for the Verbal portion of the test.
Positive sides of the book- Building blocks to constructing and deconstructing the argument;
- How to read RC passages effectively and to get better at RC in minuscule and specific details;
- A thorough methodology analysis of the arguments both for the RC and CR portions of the GMAT test;
- Analysis of the wrong answers. The students must keep in mind that this evaluation is WAY MORE important of than when we pick a question correctly;
- It's an easy book to digest. This is one of the major points that I consider when reviewing a book. A book must teach something that is easy to learn. Flying high with a jargon is not for me. The best things, what works best is when you can explain the theory of relativity to your grandmother;
- I had a smile when I saw the reading suggested to improve RC

These are exactly the same as I suggested in
The Best Reading to Improve Reading Comprehension in 2013, in unsuspecting times. But if you are willing to see the new version
GMAT_Improve reading !! Regularly UPDATE . I host tons of FREE PDFs in a similar fashion.
Negative sides of the book
The only negative side, even though it is NOT a real drawback, is the fact I do not see any new RC or CR to practice. The RC passages and CR questions are the same as we saw in the previous version of the book. Perhaps we have new questions in the online platform MGAMT has for the students, and you can have access just by redeeming the book.
Final ThoughtsA must-have book. Even though you could have previous generations of the same book by
MGMAT, this is a complete overhaul. I am pretty sure it will last for years to come as reference for the GMAT Verbal preparation.
Here is what the students have with the new Manhattan Books.

First, with the new books, we've also launched a new
Dynamic Question Set Builder. It has a big database of problems and allows you to build your own custom sets based on all kinds of parameters (question type, content area, difficulty, and so on).
The DQS Builder will go up for sale next week as a standalone product, but the books also come with different levels of access to the DQS Builder:
- The All the GMAT book set (All the Quant + DI and All the Verbal) comes with full access to the entire database of problems, from Foundations to Advanced Quant.
- The All the Quant + DI book comes with access to a subset of Quant and DI problems.
- The All the Verbal book comes with a subset of Verbal problems.
- The Advanced Quant book comes with access to a subset of Advanced Quant problems. (The AQ book is PS-only, FYI.)
- The Foundations of Math free ebook comes with access to Foundations-level math drill problems. (This book is still completely free!)
