Hi,
I bought
Manhattan GMAT Prep's sentence correction book and along with it came 6 online CATs and 3 non-CATs + alpha. (I registered online using the code provided on the back cover of the book)
Well, I took my first
MGMAT CAT...AND I WAS SHOCKED!!!
The math section was WAY harder than I had expected. The problems were NOTHING like those in the OG 11th edition... Yes, even the last 10 problems in the OG are easier than most of the challenge problems in this club but still... I timed myself and I couldn't finish in time...left 10 last problems untouched (ouch!)
I thought my strength lied in math, as I was able to do OG math problems easily and even solved harder problems in PrincetonReview (math bin 4) without much difficulty... Even some of the hard questions that appear in the forums... Maybe I was overly confident... On other practice tests, I usually get 32~34 questions right in math...I was aiming for 51 from 44~49 which I had thought I was in.
Needless to say, I'm in SHOCK... starting to panick now that the area I thought I pretty much had just fell apart...
Has anyone taken the math section of
MGMAT CAT? How are they compared to the actual test or other practice tests?
Please help me...
I might need a wake-up call.
Ahhhh.....
* I'm restricted in posting my scores and the number of questions I got right/wrong...

To read what I originally wrote (with the scores) please download the word file. This might help you compare how this test is to other practice tests based on how it calculates its scores.
I apologize in advance if I shouldn't be doing this.
Could the staff please allow me to post my scores in the future?
I believe I meet the requirement of 10+ posts and 10 days.
Thank you
