Manhattan GMAT tutoring experience need advice...

Hey,
Here is my story. After couple of GMAT attempts I'm stuck at 640. Need at least 680, 700-710 would be perfect. I'm not a native speaker so my verbal score is 31-33. Math is better 47 at final real test attempt.
I've passed Knewton, read all recommended books on verbal part couple of times -still no results. No improvement for 6 month.
I've decided to go for private tutoring as a final hope. Manhattan tutors are highly recommended by many GMAT club users and by many others. One of the guys on GMATclub wrote that his tutor worked out a personal program for him that included even time when he should eat. My experience is quite the opposite. They guy I work with doesn't look involved in the process. Homework tasks are very broad such as "do most popular CR questions for a week", he leaves many of my questions unanswered and for tcouple of weeks didn't have time to understand my math level.
May be I want too much, but I hoped to get better service for 200 bucks and hour. I paid Knewton just 400 bucks for the whole course and received more attantion from them that looked much more personal.
Can anyone briefly explain his or her experience with Manhattan tutoring - how the whole process was organized etc. May be I have some wrong expectations or I just should ask for another tutor?
Will appreciate you answers.
