Hi guys,
I have one month off work to prepare for GMAT. Are the
Manhattan books (Fractions, Decimals and Percents, Algebra, Word Problems, Geometry and Number Properties) a good start to my preparation?
Any tips would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Yes,
billtsigk92, the
Manhattan Prep guides provide not only theory, but also strategies for taking on the types of Quant questions you will see on the exam. If you purchase a new set of guides, you will also get access to the Navigator tool, essentially a walkthrough, by way of video tutorials, of questions from whichever edition of
the official guide you may be using. Many members have begun self-preparation through this set of guides (either the older edition in the set of smaller guides or the newer, condensed one,
All the Quant). You are also welcome to check out threads on theory and tips on this site, such as the Ultimate GMAT Quantitative Megathread or ALL YOU NEED FOR QUANT ! ! ! both of which can be found on
the main page of the Quantitative forum. Nothing beats free access to high-quality material, in my view.
Best of luck with your studies.
