Hello everyone,
I am from Germany and recently finished my undergraduate degree in Economics and Business Administration at a German non-target university and looking for Master in Finance programs in Europe. I am not sure about my chances for admission, so any advice would be a help!
My Profile:
- Undergraduate Degree: 1.60 (it should be equivalent to 3.4/4) with a focus on Finance and Accounting
- I went for a semester abroad at a non-target uni in California
- TOEFL 106
- GMAT 640 (Q47V31)
- 6 months internship in Investment Management at Top3 DAX-company
- 3 months internship at VC/PE fund
- working student at BIG4 in Risk Advisory
- currently working as an intern in Asset Management for 6 months in one of the biggest banks of Europe.
- was a board member at the Finance Club at my university
I know my GMAT score... I have really struggled with this. I tried it 3 times with 3-4 months of full time preparation and will not try it a 4th time.
Initially, my first priority was the Master in Finance at Bocconi or at ESSEC Business School, but I think with this GMAT score I will not be admitted, or what do you think?
I am aiming now for:
- Stockholm School of Economics - Master in Finance
- WU Vienna - Master in Quantitative Finance
(both universities in the second round)
There is not much information about the two programs, and I would appreciate any suggestions and advice!
