Hey,
To all of you who are on similar journey, in the context of pursuing MiM from LBS or HEC Paris, wish you the best.
Personally, have started already preparing for GMAT, and are planning on taking it in approx. 9 months, thus will be applying for the class intake that will start on 2016.
Regarding carrer choice, I want to pursue it in management consulting, which raises questions in the aspect of my chosen schools.
From personal standpoint of view,
HEC Paris - seems like an amazing with it's placement in my selected industry, as well as the specialization for strategic management. However, in France MBB firms require French fluently, which I would not have, as an international student. Which leads to concerns regarding placement in different offices.
LBS - definitely also amazing school to be within, and their location regarding future career, should not raise any further discussion. However, the program is shorter, and curriculum focuses on core courses, where I already have knowledge, as I'm coming from business background in my undergraduate studies.
That's how I see the situation, from the perspective of future student in one of these schools. Although, still have plenty of time to sharpen my perspective.
What's your takeaway and perspective, concerning mentioned schools and my aspiration to work preferably for MBB consulting firm?
Best,
