Hello, I am in my last year of Economics degree at Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, doing all possible quantitative subjects (Graph Thoery, Networks, Machine learning, R programming...). I have to decide as soon as possible which master to choose next year, but I have many doubts. I've seen a lot of master's degree in Europe. But it is very difficult for me to find opinions or rankings about them. I had in mind Econometrics and Mathematical Economics of Tilburg, Data Science and Society of Tilburg, Data Science of the Barcelona Graduate of BGSE (but I see a syllabus that assumes a lot of programming knowledge, which I would like to acquire but I don't have), Master Data Science and Marketing Analytics from Erasmus (but I don't like Marketing) and Master in Data Sciences & Business Analytics from ESSEC or Tilburg.
As you can see, I am a little lost, I am more or less clear that I want an analysis agenda and quantitative methods, but it is difficult to find rankings, opinions, etc. Im not really interested in the Economics content part, but maybe in the possibility to make analysis in other areas, like psychology physics....
Suggestions, opinions, tips ...?
Hi
javierm5The top-rated programs in analytics in Europe are the MSc in Data Science at HEC, Business Analytics in RSM, MSc in Analytics at ESADE, Master in Data Science at ESSEC, and MSc in Business Analytics at IE. Try and look for one of these. They will not be specific to only one function (e.g. Marketing Analytics), and not all will require programming experience, though a GRE/GMAT may be required.
