i agree with these guys. i am getting 3 as well.

H + T = 26

T=14+H

=> H = 6
T = 20

we also know that he drinks 5 cups of tea on a non rainy day. => 20 cups in 4 non rainy days.

=> 3 rainy days.

Hence the answer is C.

If question was to find N , then answer would have been B.

On rainy mornings, Mo drinks exactly N cups of hot chocolate (assume that N is an integer). On mornings that are not rainy, Mo drinks exactly 5 cups of tea. Last week Mo drank a total of 26 cups of tea and hot chocolate together. If during that week Mo drank 14 more tea cups than hot chocolate cups, then how many rainy days were there last week?

1
2
3
4
5
6

Suppose it rained \(x\) days last week.
It didn't rain \(7-x\) days last week

Overall consumption of Tea and Hot Chocolate:
\(Nx+5(7-x)=26\)------1

Also,
\(Nx+14=5(7-x)\)-------2

Subtracting 1 from 2, we get \(x=3\)

Ans: "C" (By the way, there are 6 options rather than 5)
