On rainy mornings, Mo drinks exactly N cups of hot chocolate (assume that N is an integer). On mornings that are not rainy, Mo drinks exactly 5 cups of tea. Last week Mo drank a total of 26 cups of tea and hot chocolate together. If during that week Mo drank 14 more tea cups than hot chocolate cups, then how many rainy days were there last week?

On rainy mornings, Mo drinks exactly N cups of hot chocolate (assume that N is an integer). On mornings that are not rainy, Mo drinks exactly 5 cups of tea. Last week Mo drank a total of 26 cups of tea and hot chocolate together. If during that week Mo drank 14 more tea cups than hot chocolate cups, then how many rainy days were there last week?

I keep getting the wrong answer:
x+x -14 =26
2x=40
x=20
20/5=4
7-4= 3 days
x+x -14 =26
2x=40
x=20
20/5=4
7-4= 3 days

Suppose there are x rainy days in a week
Non-rainy days in a week=7-x
Now on rainy day, N cups of hot chocolate is consumed.
Hence, in a week = Nx cups of hot chocolate is consumed.
On non rainy day, 5 cups of tea is consumed
Hence, in a week = 5(7-x) cups of tea is consumer
Total number of cups of hot choco and tea in a week=26
Nx+5(7-x)=26
Nx+35-5x=26
Nx=5x-9---(1)
Also in a week Mo drank 14 more cups of tea than hot choco
5(7-x)=14+Nx
35-5x=14+Nx
Substituting for Nx from 1
35-5x=14+5x-9
35-5x=5+5x
30=10x
x=3
Yes even i am getting 3 rainy days. Is OA correct?
OA cannot be 2, because then non rainy days become 5 so total number of cups of tea=25
Tea+choco=26
that means choco is 1. That means in 2 rainy days Mo drank 1 cup of choco.each day she drank 1/2 cup. But since N is an integer it is not possible. Unless she drank 0 cup of tea one day.
Non-rainy days in a week=7-x
