Just wanted to top this because I'm in a very similar situation and have the same question.
I'm finishing up undergrad accounting at a small, relatively unknown state school in MD. While I could easily land a job right out of undergrad, I'm not sure I want to follow the professional accounting route. I've also considered a Ph.D (leaning towards this now actually) and a finance/banking-oriented career.
LSE's MSc Accounting and Finance program seems to fit most of my needs...gives me some more time to decide what I want to do, gets me out of Maryland for a while, and holds an awesome brand name (which I'm now lacking) that will help for pre-PhD/finance/accounting.
BUT, if it doesn't count towards the 150 credits needed for the CPA, that would really complicate things...
So, if anyone could provide any insight about this for us that'd be great. Thanks!
