’m a rising senior majoring in Accounting/ Business Information Systems, and I am thinking about applying to a Masters of Accounting program. The problem is my GPA is around a 2.9. Unfortunately, I got two B-s in Internal Financial Reporting One and Internal Financial Reporting 2, so any schools that have required GPAs/ required Accounting majors. I was thinking about getting my masters of accounting online, but preferably I would do a more traditional method if possible. What would be some good schools I could apply to and get in traditionally. And if no schools really apply to this, could I get into UNC’s or Penn State’s Online Masters of Accounting programs. And is there a difference between doing a Masters program and doing all 150 credits through undergrad? I'm scheduled to take the GMAT in a week, so should I take it and see if I get a good score as well.
