Hi GmatClub members,
I am new to this forum and looking forward for your guidance and advice. I aim to pursue my master's degree in AI from a top US institution to get a broader technology and industry experience.
My Background:
Industry experience: Consulting & HR Tech in retail
1. Total experience: 13+ years
2. Highest education: Bachelors from Electronic & Communication in India
3. Gmat/ GRE/ EA: Not taken yet
4. Current Job role: HR Product delivery, Project management, Total Rewards business function, HR Strategy, Enterprise Applications Architect
5. Current Location: San Francisco, CA, (originally from India)
6. Type of program: Online Master's degree. Don't want to leave my current job.
7. Next 3 years goal: Gain in depth knowledge in AI, Integrate AI within HR and other business processes like ERP, CRM, digital transformation
8. Next 5 years plan: To be able to consult other companies in AI best practices for their businesses or build products that can help clients
In all, from the masters degree i expect to learn AI, and gain entrepreneurial knowledge to eventually establish my own consulting business. Getting a degree from a top college will help me build a better network.
Between earning certificate from some prestigious institution and getting a masters degree, I would prefer to get my masters done as it's not just about getting skills but also building network.
I can give 4 hrs. a day to prepare for my masters.
Really appreciate if someone can suggest me what are my best options after having an extensive 13+ IT experience? Is it too late to do masters?
Do I need to take GRE/EA? Most of the top colleges these days do not require GRE. But I can give sometime to prepare GRE or EA.
Thanks,
Akash
