Dear All,
I am in the process of applying to business schools this year for Masters in Finance programs. My profile is as follows:
Undergrad: BSc. Accounting and Finance (Maths minor) from the top business school in Pakistan with a distinction (GPA 3.62/4)
GMAT: 720 (Q48 V40)
CFA Level 1 cleared
Experience: I have done two internships at the Central Bank of Pakistan and Ernst & Young. Since my graduation in May 2017 I have been working as a financial analyst at a PE firm in Pakistan.= and have worked on multiple deals worth over USD 1 million.
I am targeting the following programs: Mfin at MIT, MFA at LBS, MFin at USC Marshall, MFE at Oxford, MFeng at Haas, MFeng at UCLA.
My major concern is a lower GMAT quant score.
Do I have a chance in these programs? I would also appreciate suggestions for other programs to consider.
Thanks
Hi,
1. Assuming you have detailed class profiles of these schools, and would really do better with higher scores, do you have the time (and better expectations) to retake one?
2. Tried other options? GRE scores? Exam Tutors?
3. I have helped clients to MS programs in Columbia, LSE, USC etc. Other successes include LBS, Oxford etc.
PM me your detailed resume with list of achievements over the last 5 years for a free profile evaluation.
