Question ................ Asian Male- 32
Gmat- 730(2nd test, am planning to take more)

Education-
Mechanical Engineereing, Georgia Tech, GPA: 2.6

Work experience-
8+ years of work in eSports Industry
- I had chance to work as player, media influencer, head coach, and then General manager.
Due to the industry environment, I’ve moved around teams every other year and boosted media exposure and competitive results by at least 300% in each team for past 5 teams while being scouted or promoted 3 times.

Extra curricular-
- started my own business while in undergrad
- played discus, shot-put, and wrestling
- am in 4 different focus groups including MENSA(which I am not sure if it’s beneficial to reveal)

Target Schools- INSEAD, Columbia, Berkley, MIT, Harvard.

Is it reasonable to target these schools with such a low GPA/etc?

Low GPA and over 30 make M7/T10 harder, but not impossible. INSEAD should be in range. What are you wanting to do after MBA? that will be the biggest question

If you are applying to programs this fall and you are just starting the process, I would highly recommend starting to reach out to current students in the program right now... the academic semester typically ends in late May and when these students go off to their internships or graduate, they will be less likely to answer prospective applicant emails as quickly as now.

Question .....................Stats: 3.72 Biology GPA, 164V 163Q GRE. White male.

Work experience: 1 year at an environmental non-profit, 3.5 years working in energy and sustainability for the state government, and 10 months by June 2022 (term appointment) teaching environmental science to underprivileged kids at a public charter school. I would be applying R1, so a couple of months into teaching.

Volunteering: 1.5 years of volunteering (2 at matriculation) to get kids and their families outdoors fishing at weekly events. Promoted a year into leading boat tours of the river as a paid role. This experience with kids is why I think I got the teaching role. All the people I work with here would be great recommenders.

Schools: I applied last Fall and got into all of the T20 schools I applied to, and one T15. Rejected at 2 other T15s and left on Fuqua WL until last week. I was hoping to target Darden and Yale, but I was wondering if I look like I could get Kellogg.

Congratulations on the admits in a very competitive season! Your background is great, stats are strong.... I think the biggest question will be what are your goals and how they correlate with these schools. Kellogg and certainly be a contender (as well as Darden, Yale, Duke... but your goals need to line up with what they offer/specialize in and have employers recruiting for. I’d love to speak more offline - email me JeniferT@aringo.com OR use my calendar to set up a time to chat - https://calendly.com/jenifert-aringo/gm ... ume-review :)

Great profile with lots of fantastic experience! Biggest advantage is that you have secured a role with KPMG post-grad! This is one of the biggest factors in any YLP program... aim for 720+, but the minimum is 690. Leverage your leadership, structure of what you will be doing at KPMG over next 20 months and why ISB/YLP is good fit for you.
