Hi All,
I am preparing for GMAT now and I am planning to take exam in next 3-4 months
My profile is
Class 10 : 85.85% (west Bengal board)
Class 12: 84% (West Bengal board)
Graduation : 45.45% ( Calcutta University)
1st MBA : 71%
I have 2.5 years of work experience in AML for US Mortgage
Now I know that my graduation.arks is very less as a result I couldn't take CAT.
I ended up by doing one MBA from a local college
I am preparing for GMAT but evry time one question is moving around whether I can get into top tire MBA like ISB or GMAT preparation is nothing but waste of time
I need your help.
It is really hampering my preparation and I getting out of my goal.
Please help me.
If I get in abroad then what about placement support because I have to take.loan so job is very important for me

First things first – without a valid and competitive GMAT Score in excess of 700, your chances of getting into a global MBA program such as ISB is low. Hence, if you are serious about your admission prep, channelize all your energies to get that high score and then think of other non-tangible aspects. Your concern about low academic scores is legit, but do realize that a good GMAT score is one of the most straight forward ways to address this concern.
To answer your second question, ~90% of Indian applicants who go abroad to study take a student loan and have this genuine concern of whether they will be able to land a job post the course. Mostly, they do. However, unlike in India (for that matter ISB) where placements are almost a spoon feeding exercise, globally you will have to navigate the recruitment landscape (first internship and then a fill time role) via a mix of networking steadfast persistence, and hard-work from Day 1 (there will no per-say placement week).
AML=Anti-Money Laundering ?? If yes, experience in this industry can be a demonstrated as a highlight of your profile specially considering today’s investment landscape that is marred by compliance, governance and other such concerns.
