Hi,

I am a new member here. Trying to understand what are the best MBA options for me. I can afford to take 12 months-18 months full time programs.
I am a Engineer by qualification and have 8+ years experience in Innovation/ Intellectual Property Consulting in India.
I took GMAT recently and scored 560. A low score, I understand, I am preparing to take it again.

Please suggest me the most suitable programs.

A 21 month program would open up your option significantly, here in the US the one-year programs are really only suited to people who have a master's degree and don't need an internship meaning that they don't plan to switch careers. So if you're looking for a one-year program you're going to need to apply to European schools, and potentially Canadian as well. It's really quite difficult to give you any type of idea of which I to until you have a more competitive GMAT. For the time being I would just recommend that you put all of your energy on that, trying different ideas and strategies on ways to improve your score.

By the way putting this in the career forum, you're not going to get a lot of responses. When you do have a better score I would recommend you put this in the ask admissions thread. You could do that now but everyone's going to tell you what I just told you.

First, you need to ask yourself do you really need an MBA! If yes, why? And what will be your post MBA goal and concentrations?
