Hi,

I am very new to GMAT. I am a graduate (B.Sc - Botany,zoology and chemistry - 2013 passout) and want to pursue a post graduation. Since 2013 i am preparing for bank examinations in India. I was able to qualify prelimiinary exams of most of them but failed in mains examinations. But till now i have not opted for any post graduation degree.

Please advise me if I could pursue a PG programme via GMAT after such a long gap and no work experience. If not then is there any other career options for me so that i can go for post graduation.

Hey hi, my brother has done BSc comp I think you should go for MBA in IT management but he is insisting for MBA in HR is there any real scope for MBA in HR.

Choosing bank exams is a trend right now but the success rate is low. However, MBA through MAT or CAT is a much easier and smart choice. I mean these exams are tough but it leads your career somewhere. Even if you don't get selected in your preferred BSchool there are choices of other reputed institutes. Not many of the BSC students know about IIT JAM Exam<read wikipedia or Eduncle for details>, which is a great career opportunity. Apart from this GATE Science is also an opportunity you can look forward.

Firstly I have to informed you that MBA is the master degree course in Management Field, So If you are Interested to make your career in Business field OR if you are interested to do Job in top MNC's Company then MBA Is the Best Option after completing MBA you will become a Manger in some Top Companies. There are very wide career in Management Field, So please if you are Interested in this course then after B.sc you are eligible.

>> The Admission are based on the entrance examination - CAT/MAT. So, Please apply for any one of the examination if your aim is to get admission in Top Business schools.

>> CAT Stands for Common Admission Test And MAT Stands for Management Aptitude test. CAT Entrance examination was held every year in the month of November/December, The dates of this year examination notification was already updated in the official website, so please check the official website, If you are Interested in MBA Course. MBA is the 2 Year Post Graduate Degree course, And to get admission in this course you need to complete your Graduation in any discipline form a recognised university. For CAT Examination you need to scored minimum 50% marks in your Graduation, Candidates may apply for this examination Online By visit the Official CAT website. The Registration process was already started and the last date of apply for this examination was 28/Sep/2011.

>> So, After B.sc If you are Interested to make your Career in Business field OR interested in Manager Post Job then MBA is the best Option. In MBA you can Opt any Specialization according to your Interest, If you can Opt General MBA then You have to choose One Major and One Minor Subjects in 3Rd Semester. So, You can Opt Specialization from Finance, Marketing, HR, IT, Retail, International Business etc... and Many More. If you are Interested in Finance field then Opt MBA Finance as your Major specialization And Marketing as your Minor OR Vice- Versa.
