Does anyone have any experience in gaining a position in political risk consulting after earning an MBA? I've noticed that many top MBA programs have various specializations in Emerging Markets, etc., but the careers associated w/ this field seem quite broad (ranging from the World Bank to Int'l Sales at Multinational Corps). Would political risk consulting fall under this umbrella? I think it's a field that I'd like to pursue, but I don't want to waste my time with the applications/time/money if it isn't a viable option after graduation. Also, more generally, would this general track (EM) be considered an under-subscribed (or over-subscribed?) field for recent admissions cycles?
