I partially agree with the previous post. There is nothing wrong with embracing failure. In fact, you probably will have to at some point in your MBA application whether that be in an essay or an interview.
That said, I would not wholeheartedly embrace this app endeavor just because it was something you spent time on that did not work out. You do not have to mention everything you did or did not do. It all depends on the balance of your application. The application is supposed to be a summary of your best attributes and experiences, not a tell-all book of highs and lows.
You may also have another failure that could be more meaningful for your growth that discussing this failed app. Again, it depends on what you choose to describe to the admissions committee.
