everyone is correct in saying that there is a very fine line. but without knowing any more specifics, i think finance is slightly better than accounting in a "EE (electrical engineering) is better than ME (mechanical engineering) is better than CE (civil engineering)" kind of way.

if the company needs to hire someone who knows accounting, they will hire a CPA or CFA, not an MBA. if the company needs to hire a CFO to be an executive, they will probably hire an MBA with finance or accounting (doesn't really matter).
