Hi, and thanks for writing! MBA programs' policies on accepting a 3-year UG degree (vs. requiring a 1-year PG course) vary, so make sure to check with each program you're interested in regarding their requirements.
Regarding the decision on where to do your MBA - that depends significantly on your career goals and desired geography. In which industry, and in which location, do you aspire to work post-MBA? Also, in what industry/function is your 3 years of work experience?

Good Evening Sir/Ma'am,
i had recently visited a Local admissions consultant in my city regarding MBA/Masters in Finance courses. I have done my 3 year UG degree from CMS College,Bangalore (which is not among the Top 10 Colleges in the country) and have 3 years of full time experience along with a GMAT score of 640. What i was advised after reviewing of my profile was that majority of US and Canada universities prefer and accept only 4 year UG degrees as equivalent degrees and it is better for you to go for a One -Year PG Diploma course so that your options to go to US and Canada Univ. open up. I was also told that if i do not want to pursue another year of PG Course then i should prefer looking for MBA or Msc in Finance courses from UK and/or Australia. i was advised to check out group of 8 universities in Australia.
i am extremely confused as to what should i be doing. Also, Is an MBA from UK or Australia worth the investment of time and money. i have heard from a few that degrees from Australia aren't given enough weightage around the globe. One of the major drawbacks of studying in UK would be that i will not be able to go for any work experience post the course. i am extremely confused.
Please help me out.
