Please don’t look at UK right now. There are other countries which allow you to work freely, there is Dubai – which is constantly growing. They have a Dubai International Academic City which is amazing! It has quite a lot of campuses like INSEAD, IMD, S P Jain School of Global Management etc.

Yeah? Is it is the same as SPJIMR? What about the placements? Do these universities guarantee a placement abroad? My parents are investing quite a lot in my higher education and I want to be pretty sure about this. I want to try and do as much research as possible. Any tips?

I think the best way to research about any school is by talking to an alumnus, checking out their website and thirdly checking out external sites on Google. I think that works! Also SPJIMR is a different MBA college in Mumbai.

I happened to visit S P Jain Global's website, and their placement stat says that around 17 students has got more than 20 lacs salaries. It looks impressive but is it really true?

Perhaps, you talk to one of their alumni to confirm with this. I don't think, website will claim anything fake openly. Also it is one of the highly reputed business school in the world.

Yeah, I don't even think that this would be the case but confirmation is always better. I will continue with my research on this. Website also says, S P Jain Global has been ranked #19 in the world in 2013 by Forbes, so there is no doubt but still.

Yes! Happened to talk to one of the alumnus who is currently working as a manager in HCL, who also happens to be one of my close friend’s brother. He was pretty enthu about me joining the course! He said that the course is comprehensive, you learn across three global cities – Dubai, Singapore and Sydney. He said that it completely changed him, I remember him as this meek person at the beginning of the course. Today, he looks quite confident in everything he does. I think global exposure does a lot of good to you, isn’t it?

Studying in abroad is a good plan. But working in India. I do not think so, it is good. You can try in IIMs. Work hard. IIMS also offers very good packages. As in above discussion regarding Dubai. Yes Dubai is also good. You can do your MBA from their. First of all you have to clear what you want good job with higher salary or MBA. If you do your MBA from good college whether it is India or UK definitely you will get god job.Hope this will help you.job consultants in chandigarh.
