Thanks for the reply Ducksworth, Basically it is an MBA concentration in many B schools, for example, University of Birmingham MBA, Aston university MBA both offers MBA in international business. I would wanted to know what could be the career prospects and what verticals we can work etc,..

You are asking the wrong question. You have chosen a programme and then wish people to tell you what to do with it. You should first figure out what you want to do for a career and then ask guidance about which programmes can help you to achieve that.

I agree with Ducksworth's post above mine. First decide on what you want to do post-MBA, and whether an MBA will get you there. From there, pick the MBA program that best suits your needs.

Good luck :)

Thank you Ducksworth for the reply. I should have told that in first place, anyways.....

I need to work for any of the big companies such as apple, oracle, SAP, Microsoft, Nike, Yahoo, Google, Facebook, IBM, Deloitte(Yeah all are technological companies). I am an IT engineer with ERP consulting experience of 8 years now...I do not want to be in consulting....I need to work on managing projects and people for the companies that I have listed above...

The reason for asking about the international business MBA career aspects is that, I was totally left with no choice rather than narrowing down to a school where it suits my budget, location, duration of the program and FT rankings as well.

Now back to the same question pls...
