The reason to be hard, is it due to the experience level. Full-time programs are geared towards younger and less experienced group.

They sometimes recruit older candidates but it’s fairly uncommon. I would not count on it. Also, pretty much all of the on-campus recruiting is geared towards younger applicants as well who are looking to get into middle management. This individual could not use on campus recruiting and really any kind of recruiting besides his own.

I would probably recommend that he apply to the London Masters program which is a variation of the Sloan fellows programs, the one that accepts the oldest applicants. It’s a one year sabbatical, not part time but the program most likely to meet his needs. @poddutururajesh

what colleges or programs are appropriate for his experience and background?

Current Profile: Oil and Gas expert. Projects|Operations|Maintenace|Planning|Contracts
Post-MBA goal: Switch to horizontal roles (HR|Supply chain) etc.
