Hello everyone,

Need your help, I have 4 years of experience in IT as software developer. I am planning to go for MBA. But, I am confused between MBA and EMBA.

If anyone can explain me what is difference between two and what will be right choice for my experience.

Thanks

If your age is on the wrong side of 30 EMBA might be a better option. EMBA is an one year program. MBA is a two year program for freshers and those with upto five years of experience. For two year MBA in India CAT scores are required.GMAT scores are required for international schools. Two year MBA programs are offered by IIMs and other colleges in India.EMBA is more expensive and is applicable for professionals with more than seven years of experience.

Whether you opt for an MBA or an EMBA(Executive Master of Business Administration) it depends mainly on their present situations. EMBA applicants are typically older (Most EMBA students are between 32 and 38 years old) and own greater experience, where as MBA applicants who often look for an immediate career change or seeking for broader experience, but the differences between them give much further than the age and work experience of applicants.
