Hi there!
Thanks for reaching out. I think overall you have a strong profile, with a great GMAT and academic background, and good progression in your roles. Plus being a woman coming from VC should give you a bit of boost, as it's not the most typical applicant!
Congrats on the job offer. I don't see that hurting your applications, so I would be inclined to take it too. The pay increase will look good, and you can hopefully show higher responsibilities / greater leadership. Make sure you have a clear reason for why you took the job and how it fits into your post-MBA plans. The only other consideration is your recommendation letters as I've seen some applicants struggle to find recommenders when they make job changes just before deadlines. But hopefully you can sort that out.
Like I said, otherwise your profile seems really strong. If you want to look for other ways to stand out, try adding some more formal extracurricular activities, ideally ones that allow you to take a leadership role or work in teams, as the ones you listed seem to be more independent hobbies.
Hope this helps, and good luck!

To gain international exposure and make a shift to the VC / PE space
I have been offered a finance role in one of the portfolio companies (series B Company – funded by Seqouia) of the VC fund with a decent pay and some stocks.
I am inclined to take it – majorly because of the pay, as at the VC firm I don’t see any growth financially
I am looking to target Schools
- Kellog (one year MBA)
- INSEAD
- LBS
Please do let me know my chances and whether taking up the job at the start up would impact negatively my chances to a B School
Thanks ….
