You have a good profile, I am also just an applicant sam 27 M Indian, I would suggest just work well on your essays - MBA motivation should be what roles you want to transition and how that particular college can help you. But besides this you have a solid profile.

Hello - I'm hoping to get an outside review of my MBA profile. Appreciate all feedback!Age/Gender: 25 Female
Nationality: Indian
GMAT Focus: Current 645 (82QR, 85VR, 79DI) - I plan to rewrite aiming for a lower 7XX score
Undergraduate education: Electrical and Electronics Engineering @ Tier 1 Engineering college, 8.14/10 CGPAWork Ex: 3 years as of May 2026First 2 years as a consultant in a supply chain SaaS (unicorn based in US, my clients were largely based from US and EU, although I worked off-shore from India)1 year (Current) as a Data Science Consultant at a top US bank (again, I work offshore from India), where I largely work on marketing analysisNo promotions yet, but I have won internal awards and recognition for my work at both placesI do have multiple internships in the EV space to tie back to my undergrad, but pivoted out as it wasn't for meRecommendations: I would be able to get my LORs from past and current org Senior Director level folks based out of the US. I do have a SVP I work with who's a Yale MBA, but I am uncertain about getting a super strong rec out of him.Extra-Curriculars:1. Captain - University Basketball Team. Won some inter-University level tournaments2. Multiple leadership roles at a university tech club (chapter of a globally recognised org)3. Led the debate society in uni4. In school - I captained the soccer team, multiple wins at a regional level, and a bronze at the national level. Also headed the student council.5. Highlight - I have hosted multiple self-defense workshops for rural kids during breaks back at my hometown. I do MMA and have competed (sadly lost!) at an amateur kickboxing tournament.International Exposure: I grew up entirely in the Middle East, came back to India for undergrad + workI also travel a lot for leisureMBA Motivation: Honestly a geography change and career shift out of tech into more business-functional roles. I would really like to crack something in Finance, but am scared that I do not have the right experience.Target Schools: INSEAD, LBS, Oxford Said, IESE, Cambridge Judge, HEC Paris. And some reach-level schools (IE, Esade, Warwick, etc.)Hesitant about US Schools given current geo-political situation and job markets.Target programs: Mostly MBA. I would be open to doing a more specialised Masters in Management/Finance/etc. if the value is similar to an MBA.
