Some important points to keep in mind when considering CEO Counts:

1) The most capable students generally attempt to attend the top cluster schools. The top cluster schools in turn produce a large number of CEOs. The problem, however, is that the most capable students would probably do quite well attending any reputable program. Thus, it is difficult to determine the marginal contribution of any specific school relative to another school.

2) CEO counts are not adjusted for the size of the school or the interests of those students

3) Schools, especially those that have experienced recent gains in prestige, could have dozens of graduates in other important positions such as COO, CFO etc. but few CEO graduates.
