Sunaina7:
Can you walk me through your logic as it relates to Covid? Is your primary concern that if an MBA program has to be held in an alternative (virtual/hybrid) that it might not be worth it? Quick point of clarification, but why does your years of experience matter in your decision?
Above all, it depends on your main goals for pursuing an MBA. Are you trying to make a career pivot or major switch? Are you looking to build a robust network? Are you using the degree to help you accelerate your career? An MBA is an experience as much as it is a degree, so it is important to take into account all of these considerations.
To be frank, an online MBA - while cost effective - will be a huge drop off in terms of quality and reputation. You may be saving in the short term but you might not be in a position to benefit from it much in the long run.
If you are terribly concerned about the uncertainty of the program format, you can always postpone your decision to next year. No one knows when this pandemic will be in the rearview mirror, but one can hope it is soon and that MBA programs will be back to normal.
