This is a follow up on our earlier post on MBA scholarships for Indians in USA. We got queries if we could compile another one for UK and EU regions. So here they are.

Goa Education Trust Scholarships
The Dempo and the Fomento Group collaboratively formed the Goa Education Trust with the British Council in the year 2009 to provide Goan students with a platform to undertake postgraduate study in the UK. Since its inception the scholarship provided an opportunity for Goans to obtain higher education degrees from top UK Universities in various disciplines including Journalism, Education, Ancient History and Law.

In 2015, the decision was taken to open the scholarship up for all Indian nationals.

This Scholarship is now open to ANY Indian national applying for a Master’s Programme in the UK. .

Charles Wallace India Trust Scholarships
Every year CWIT offers up to 10 long term awards, aiming at giving early to mid career practitioners a chance to study or gain wider experience and exposure. The balance between Arts and Heritage Conservation varies from year to year depending on demand and performance at interview.

The awards, which are generally from 2–3 months up to a maximum of a year, cover accommodation and living costs in the UK, fees and a contribution to international fares. CWIT does not support two year courses.

Applications for the Charles Wallace India Trust Awards for the session 2017-18 are now open.

The deadline for Charles Wallace India Trust long term awards is 30 November 2016.

Rhodes Scholarships
Each year, there are five Scholarships available for Indian students chosen on the basis of exceptional intellect, character, leadership, and commitment to service, to study at the University of Oxford. Rhodes scholars are typically young women and men of outstanding intellect, leadership, and commitment to service.

Rhodes scholarship covers all University and College fees, a personal stipend and one economy class airfare to Oxford at the start of the Scholarship, as well as an economy flight back to the student's home country at the conclusion of the Scholarship.

INSEAD Deepak and Sunita Gupta Endowed Scholarship(s)
Deepak Gupta MBA'93J and his wife Sunita have generously created an endowed scholarship fund targeted at students from emerging markets.

Their intention is to help build human capacity and to create economic and social value in the most economically challenged regions of the world. Outstanding candidates with limited financial means will be granted scholarships and the fund will enable INSEAD to continue to attract diverse candidates onto the MBA Programme. One or two significant awards will be granted in each class.
