Hi All,
I know it might be a generic question, but could anyone please tell me is it possible to do MBA 2 years full time specialization in Finance?
I heard that first year has common subjects and we can choose the specialization subject in the second year.
Also iam unable to shortlist the colleges on the basis of Top finance B schools.
I am Mostly targeting Europe and mainly near England
My Profile:: Indian, Male, GMAT:690. 3 years experience IT.
Response appreciated.
All two year programs, at least among the top schools, will require you to complete the core curriculum (i.e., "common subjects.) At some schools, the core lasts an entire year, but at others, the core only lasts the first semester.
After you finish the core curriculum, you can take whatever electives you want, focusing on Finance. Many schools like Kellogg, Fuqua and Sloan allow you to declare concentrations.
In terms of top Finance schools in Europe, you can probably look at the FT rankings. But LBS is the obvious king of finance among b schools in England.
