hello this is dinesh chowdary.i am really confused about which specialization I have to take,I am joining mba in central michigan university in fall 2016.I am intrested in finance.please help me and tell me the opportunities after mba.I dont have any experience and I am 2015 passed out cse batch from vellore institute of technology vellore india.If there are any certification required that will boost my career ? please guide me.thank you

Hey Dinesh there are many opportunities its starts with doing a personal evaluation of what you are good at and actually want to do. Then you should research careers in finance and identify those that interest you. Then I would get on-campus and chat with your career services staff and allow them to guide you. Nothing wrong with exploring paths once you get on campus don't feel like you have to have it all figured out before you matriculate

Students opting for MBA are trained in particularly one subject and gain a specialty in the respective subject. Then further they practice what they have learned by seeking internships in their final year.

In order to get admissions in Best B-schools in India candidate has to clear any of the following exams:

GMAT
CAT
XAT

Though there are dozens of career prospects derived from an MBA degree, a few prominent ones are:

1. Business Analyst
2. Financial Analyst
3. Founder/CEO
4. Portfolio Manager

Generally, MBA is a 2 year integrated program wherein the first year goes in seeking expertise in the knowledge of business administration then according to interests and skills students opt for their field of specialization in the 2nd year.
