  • Admits: Kellogg, NYU Stern, UVA Darden, Cornell, CMU Tepper
  • Waitlist: MIT, Booth, Fuqua, Ross
  • Rejects: Stanford GSB

She chose Kellogg (with scholarship) over the other admits.

ISB Executive MBA in India PGPMAX



Aditya had first reached out to us with (what he thought was) a happy dilemma. But it quickly snowballed into something bigger and more sinister that he hadn't thought of.

He was a fairly accomplished professional who had built a solid reputation as the country representative of an international company. As with other ambitious candidates who want to accelerate their career, he felt the need for an MBA degree to fuel his growth aspirations.

So he rolled up his sleeves and got down to business - test prep, essays, recommendations, interviews - the works.

After investing several months, he got what (he thought) he wanted. Two shiny admits from FT ranked programs - one from a T50 school abroad and another one from India (IIM).

"Which one should I choose?," he asked us. Usually our answer is limited to a few quick perspectives. But this time it opened up a Pandora's box that started a new journey that he had never planned for.

He realized some glaring mistakes that could've derailed everything he had planned for. In hindsight, all his efforts over the past few months seemed like a complete waste.
