Can anyone offer any advice on how to start the career aspirations essay? I've been stumped for the past few weeks on how to start. Do I tell a story? Do I need to use accounting terminology in the essay? Here is what I plan to do with my degree:
*Work for a public accounting firm for 2-3 years, preferably in a mid-sized firm that will allow me to work in tax and auditing.
*Continue taking MBA courses part-time so that I can sit for the CPA exam (I have a B.A. in English Literature, hence the MBA courses)
*Move to an organization (maybe Federal Government or SBA?) that assists small/minority business startups and provides assistance in the areas of tax, business plan/proposal, and accounting system and procedure setup.
*Eventually become a consultant providing the same type of assistance listed above.
From there, I have no idea where my career could go and this where I keep running into trouble. What advice do you have for the first paragraph?
Thanks All and good luck with your own admission processes!
