I'd like to apply to HSG MBF next year, so I took a look at the "Factsheet MBF Grading Scale" (please search it on google, I cannot attach the file, I'm too young a member) and i noted that it says "For applicants to be admitted, the sum total score awarded for admission criteria c) and d) must amount to at least 20 points (out of a maximum of 40 points)"
Does it mean that everyone is admitted just with 20+ points at those parts ? (I think not)
Where can I find the total score, if there is one, someone has to reach, counting all the criteria ( a) to d) ), to get admitted?
PS I'm not so sure about the Topic, this is my first GMAT Club discussion started ever 😅

Hi Louis, I've applied to this program in the last round. Yes definitely this is just a minimum but I think you need much more. In general St gallen is one of the few schools that have chosen to define a rigid and as much objective as possible approach. Even though there are also many drawbacks using this approach.
I think the only way in which you can get at least an idea is looking at the linkedin profiles of the students and try to derive a "score".
To help you I think I should get around 77-85 points and I don't have many chances at this program, mainly due to the GMAT score, they have a ridiculous average(the same of Harvard or just slightly below).

Hi There!
I tried looking for and talking to people from UNISG, although I am not sure about the total score, many students have a GRE quants score of 167+ (not sure about GMAT) and others were of swiss national or studied in a swiss university(Students do not require a gmat or gre if you are a swiss national or have studied in a swiss university).
