Hello everyone, can I get your opinion on my stats? I'd love to apply to HSG MBF and HEC Lausanne MFin:
Academics:
- GMAT not yet (It's worrying me a bit)
- CGPA: 3.1 (Top school in my country, I was within the top 20% of the school as it's known for having a quite difficult curriculum)
- Took challenging optional quantitative courses such as dynamic asset pricing and also CFA courses such as Ethics
- Teaching assistant for both the financial risk management and financial modeling classes
Extracurriculars:
- Was in 3 associations at my university
- Selected for a fully funded exchange program in The US on Economic Empowerment
- Finalist in entrepreneruship competitions
Professional experiences:
- 6 months internship in a leading private equity firm
- Financial operations internship
- Finance & Accounting internships
- Marketing internships
Now: Financial Analyst & Investor Relations officer at a top agrifood firm in my country (leadership role)
Goals:
- I hope to pass the CFA Exam in august this year.
- Currently learning Power BI in my job.
- Enrolled in the FMVA Certification by the Corporate Finance Institute.
