Hi,

Has anyone taken the CAT tests from McGraw Hill 2009 edition? I was wondering whether it's at par withe the actualy GMAT and how is the scoring in these tests. Should you add points or subtract points from the score in order to estimate the actual GMAT score.

Any insights?

Those tests are not recommended. I am not sure if anyone around here has taken them.....

I took the Mcgraw hill tests from the CD of an older version of their book (2007 or 2008 I think). I found those questions a notch easier than the real GMAT. I stopped using Mcgraw Hill book and the tests after I tried the Manhattan GMAT stuff which was probably a little harder than the real GMAT test (I have taken GMAT twice so I knew the level of questions I'd expect to see when I first used the Mcgraw hill stuff). I'd say most of the questions on it are 600-680 level questions.

true very easy questions ................I got very high score here(Its a shame to disclose) .......but on other simulators .....I have had maximum of 690........

McGraw Hill, as well as Baron's, are not mentioned with enthusiasm among members. There's a reason for that.

I would immediately cease using those books and choose from more reliable sources, such as Kaplan, Manhattan, and Powerscore. In terms of test simulations, the best is GMATPrep. A distant second would be Manhattan's six online tests. These two sources provide sufficient test practice.
