In a certain district, the minimum of the monthly rainfall is 0.2, max is 12.2 and the average of the 12 month is 3.5. Which of the followings is the greatest possible value of the median?
A2.4 B3.5 C4.2 D4.8 E6.2

I would take D although the real answer should be somewhere b/w 5 and 6
This is the allocation which would maximize the median (b/w 6th and 7th month) knowing that the total should be 12*3.5 = 42
1- .2
2- .2
3- .2
4- .2
5- .2
6- 5
7- 6
8- 6
9- 6
10- 6
11- 6
12- 6
Total is 42. Max median as you can see should be b/w 5 and 6. Hard to get the exact number here.
