C is the correct one.

The author is trying to point out the disparity shown in the medical education in different countries. Think about: "In comparison to their colleagues in the United States...In comparison to their colleagues in the United States...".

It is C to me. Other choices make sense but are not necesarily supported by the premise

Nice effort guys, the OA is "C".

I was a little wary about this choice as it talks about the disparity in training "worldwide" which seems a little out of scope (as also pointed out by GMATT73 in the other post). However, the closest to being right was "B", but again, it talks about healthcare in general and not medical training.
