I am a current second-year MBA student from Asia. I think UCR is the optimal choice for international students to get a Business Master Degree from. There are many good professors and opportunities at UCR. I believe you can learn a lot here. Besides, faculty and staff here are friendly, you can make a lot of friends at UCR in Southern California.

Welcome to GMATClub! Could you please tell us a little bit about your professional background, post MBA goals, and why UCR Business? Also we would love to know placement scenario at UCR especially for international students.

Hello! I am currently a 2nd year MBA student and the Chief Ambassador at the A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management. I am honored to be in the MBA cohort because they are all so supportive and fun. The staff and faculty here are all incredibly helpful and ready to help you succeed. I entered the program right after finishing up my bachelor's degree in supply chain. My goals post-graduation is to enter the travel industry in a strategy based position where I will be able to apply everything I've learned at UCR. Our career development staff, who I am currently working with, is ready to help all the students find jobs after graduation. They offer mock interviews, resume reviews, and work one-on-one with you to ensure you are set post-grad. I personally chose UCR because it was a very diverse and welcoming campus. I also enjoy that it is very close to famous destinations like Disneyland, the beach, Los Angeles, Palm Springs etc.

Please come to the upcoming event with Ms. Johnson and Mr. Chen, as you all will learn more about what our beautiful campus has to offer!

Hello Everyone! I am also a second-year MBA student double concentrating in Marketing and Management (emphasis in Strategy). I chose UCR for my MBA because of its location and the friendly faculty. The faculty goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need to excel in your studies in a timely manner. I can say that I have successfully developed my personal development and skillsets at the school through the numerous workshops and opportunities that have been presented to me (ex: I learned R' Programming through one of the workshops offered by the campus). I hope you attend one of the upcoming events to see how you can achieve your academic dreams too!
