I am putting all my eggs in one basket. I looked and researched into programs, and I'm not really interested in any other school ranked between 10-20 except this one. I don't have the background to get me into top 10 so I'm not even looking at those. I've been putting a lot of effort into the essays. If I don't get into an MBA this year (and possibly never get it), I am okay with that. If I got into this school, I'd gladly go.
Should I mention that I'm only applying to this school and what's the most effective way to say it? Do I put it inside my optional essay or under the "Why MBA" essay?
Amy,
Yes!!! Absolutely!!! Most definitely!!! Write it in the Why MBA essay of course (along with the explanations, and hopefully it's more than "It's close to my grandma's house"
) "Your school is the only school I am applying to because xxxxx, and if accepted I will surely attend"
Schools LOVE this! And in my experience so far, every client I have worked with who wrote this while applying to their one school (it was always realistic) got in. So its a good sign yeah?
Good luck!
