Hi,
Please can you help me regarding the scholarhips, fellowships, merit based scholarships...
1. do you know how hard/ easy is to get it? They are looking for candidate with great GMAT score, great working experience,...or?
2. Is there any page with most MBA scholarships? And specialy for women?
3. Is it true that that most scholarships are for candidates who applied in first or second round. And if you applied in third round, it is too late to get most of the scholarships?

The merit based scholarship is awarded on the strength of the complete application and the interview. So you need to excel in each and every aspect of it, including teh GMAT, work ex, interview, GPA etc.
Look at the merit based scholarship in this way: It is tough to get an admission in a top B-School and on top of that if you need the merit based scholarship, then you would have to be better than the few who have been admitted.
2. Is there any page with most MBA scholarships? And specialy for women?
Most of the B-Schools have a page related to financial aid that contains information about the Scholarships.
Forte Foundation is a scholarship for the women in Business
3. Is it true that that most scholarships are for candidates who applied in first or second round. And if you applied in third round, it is too late to get most of the scholarships?
Yes, R3 might be too late to secure scholarships. Most of the class is full by the R3 and most of the of the money from the scholarship pot is also gone.
However, you still have time to submit the application in R2.

Please can you tell me is there any link with most deadlines to apply for scholarships. I am going to apply to Columbia MBA. It is written on their web site that deadline for merit based scholarship is January 6th. Does that means that deadline for most scholarship is January 6th, too?thank you
