Hi everyone!
I read recently that schools have systems like Slate that check IP addresses and document metadata for recs, essays, and applications. So if all your documents come from the same IP, or share metadata, etc., the schools will know.
My question is at what point they check this? If you already received admissions, does that mean you're okay other than the background check? Meaning, if they find a problem with metadeta/fraud they would just ding you and not let you move forward?
I'm asking because I logged into my recs account to find out what all of the questions were. I passed interviews and everything.

any such check is during admissions process not during background check stage
schools dont really pay a lot of attention to these things... the big issues are misrepresentation of education/career facts and criminal issues and all that stuff

any such check is during admissions process not during background check stage
