Hello everyone,
I'm an Italian student, I've recently finished my undergrad in Economics and Finance and now I'm looking at Mfin programs. I have a few programs that interest me, but not sure about my chances with any of them, so any comments, ideas and recommendations will help. Unfortunately my prior university is not a top school in Italy.

If I can Edhec, Esade and Imperial are viewed much lower at the postgraduate level. I would try the others and put more effort on those. Good luck

Hey Alesssandro,
Your profile is pretty decent.
- Your GMAT scores are excellent.
- Your IELTS scores are pretty decent as well.
- Your GPA is a little low.
- I do not see you mentioning any extracurricular activities or your skills. So make sure to mention them as they will add value to your profile and can compensate for your low GPA
- You can also mention any additional certifications you might have acquired in finance or other fields.
- You mentioned you had done internships, be sure to mention your responsibilities and projects you might have done.
You didn’t mention which sector you have work experience in. As you want to pursue MFin, it would have been ideal if you have experience in the similar field.
Your LORs can be beneficial here, do mention them in your resume.
All this will ultimately help add value to your application.
Your target schools are HEC, LBS, Imperial, Bocconi, ESADE, EDHEC.
Your GMAT and IELTS are good enough. However, you have a low GPA, but that can be compensated for with a strong and compelling essay and application.
I would say you have a pretty good chance in your target schools.
You may also consider targeting some US schools such as - Oxford, MIT, and UCLA
as these are some of the top schools in the US and Top 10 in the world
There will be hundreds of students applying for the same course, some with better profiles than yours. Therefore, you need to build an impactful profile that the admissions committee cannot reject.
