I have MGMAT 2005 books (CR, words trans, and Fractions&decimals&percents ).
How do these differ from 2007/2008 version of books. Do I need to buy new versions?

I wish I could help you, but I have never had the 2005 set.
I just bought the 2007 set of eight books. I'm pretty sure your set (2005) has seven books.
1) Number Prop
2) Frac, Decimals, and %
3) Equations, Inequal, and Vic's
4) Word Translations
5) Geometry
6) Critical Reasoning
7) Reading Comp
8) Sent Correction
I can't really tell you any differences with the study material.
