Hello GMAT Club,
As I have read in many places, the
MGMAT Quant section is supposedly more difficult to the GMAT. I do have a question about their CAT questions and their scoring methodology. In my latest CAT, I received at score of Q45 corresponding to a percentile of 66 which in my head, corresponds to a 620 on the 200-800 GMAT scoring.
However, in the latest CAT, I received 1 500-600 question (1 right, 0 wrong), 5 600-700 questions (3 right, 2 wrong) and 31 700-800 questions (16 right, 15 wrong). Average right answer is between 720 and 730 while average wrong answer is between 730 and 750.
This doesn't correlate with my actual GMAT score of 620 for the quantitative score. Obviously, I am missing a link here, but I am not sure what it is.
Can anyone let me know?
Thanks
