Really worried about my MGMAT CAT scores - I am pretty sure I have the concepts there and when practicing OG, I usually get maximum 2 qns wrong in 10.

But here, I noticed ,my MGMAT taking a plunge in CAT #4, and my exam is in a week's time.

What really worries me is my Verbal - my CAT 1 - V35 improved to V42 in CAT 2 and 3, now CAT 4 its back to V35!

Am I doing something wrong here?

it might just be a one off thing.....maybe this test had questions that concentrated on ur flaws rather than your strengths....dont worry....if you are close to test date take a gmatprep else take another mgmat cat...

The MGMAT CATs are way off in my opinion. I feel like the questions are intentionally too tough, and it is tough to gauge actual performance. If you really want to know how you will do on the real deal, then take the GMAT Prep tets. GMAT Prep Test #1 will be about 4 points higher than the actual thing and GMAT Prep #2 will be about 2 points higher (at least that was my result, and the same for others from what I can tell).

I think verbal scores are more likely to swing up or down more than the math.

In the last three tests I took for Manhattan all in the last three weeks, here are my breakdowns:
MGMAT 2: 700 (47Q, 39 V)
MGMAT 3: 660 (47Q, 33 V)
MGMAT 4: 700 (47Q, 38 V)

I don't know why my quant stayed exactly the same all three tests, but throughout the last three months, my V has swung between 31-37 regularly, but I guess I've improved on it in my last few tests based on scores.

The concepts of Reading, Critical reasoning and sentence corrections are inherently more abstract than math concepts are.
