I have a bit of a dilemma... I took the GMATPrep practice test last week (but it was last year's version) and scored a 770 (Q50 V46). Today I wanted to check to see if I would do well again, so I took an
MGMAT CAT and got a 650 (Q43 V36). I am kind of distressed about why there was such a large discrepancy in my scores, even though there was no difference in my demeanor when I took the tests. Any thoughts as to why this could be the case? Also which score is likely more reflective of my future performance?
My test date is Aug. 31st, and after I scored the 770, I was thinking about moving it up by about a week so I can get rocking with my applications. But now after getting the 650, I am really alarmed. My goal is to get at least a 700. Should I move up my test, or should I be really concerned about the
MGMAT score and prep longer? Thanks so much for any advice or help with this.
