MGMAT expr

Does anyone have recent expr of MGMAT.?

Well vishalc , I have taken Manhatten Tests and I would not recommend them to anyone.

They may be good indicators (next to GMATPrep) but that is not a good enough reason to tak them.

1) Their math section focuses on heavy calculation based problems, and they focus on Combinations/probability etc. so it conditions you to the wrong things. The real GMAT is heavy on traps and not on calculations

2) Their verbal is not upto GMAT standard. Their explanations may be good but what is the point if they are not upto the mark ?

3) Take them for practice if you are say at least a month away from test. I would suggest you not to take MGMAT tests in last couple of weeks.

4) Take many GMATPrep tests. As many as possible.

BTW, when is your exam ? I would suggest not to take any tests if you are too close to the test. It may not do much good.

Bottomline : Trust only OG/GMATPrep for Verbal. OG/GMATPrep/gmatclub challenges for quant

BTW, MGMAT books are good to build basics.

I would partly agree with chaniya.

Bud, M-GMAT tests are GUD !! But yes they train you for non-gmat kind of problems, which may not be a gud thing if you are near your test.

I have met many people who have taken M-GMAT tests... some people like it and some don't...

Practice is practice ... do it if you have time ...

I think they helped me a lot. The timing in MGMAT is difficult and it helps you figure out when you need to move on. When you can score very highly in MGMAT, it will be a good indication you're ready.

I agree the verbal is not as difficult.

I did not take MGMAT tests because everyone says the quant problems require too many calculations...they can't be done in the amount of time you have.

GMATPrep is definitely best, but there are only two of them. You can uninstall and reinstall, but I would only do that once. Otherwise you'll see overlap and it won't be that helpful.

I would recommend the Princeton Review tests. Those were very accurate for me and seem to be the most like the real test overall.
