Hi
I have recently bought a
Manhattan GMAT Reading Comprehension Strategy Guide, 6th Edition from Amazon, hoping to get 6 practice tests, but it says this edition comprises of only 1 full length test !!!!!
How come??? I have read at all places that buying any edition of
MGMAT books will give 6 practice tests included. Is it that 6th Ed has only 1 test, and all older editions have 6 tests??
If so I am really disaapointed and will return the book back
and hopefully buy an older edition.
Please share your suggestions or thoughts on this !!!
Dear
mrinal0308,
I'm happy to respond.
This is Mike McGarry from
Magoosh. Recently, I know the folks at
MGMAT changed their policy. Up until less than a year ago, buying one book would give you access to all six GMAT CATs. Then, they changed the policy and reorganized how they sell things. Now, one book gets you one GMAT CAT. Buying an old book won't help: the policy has changed for all books. Besides, if you bought an old book, and the previous user scratched the code and used the test, it wouldn't be available at all to you.
If what you want are the six practice tests, you can buy them by themselves
here for $50. Either that, or you can buy five more books from the
MGMAT series. While the latter option is more expensive, I do recommend it if you can afford it, because those books are fabulous.
Does all this make sense?
Mike
